Active Sleep Can Help Our Mental Health in the LGBTQIA+ Mental Health Community

Meagon Nolasco shares her experience with building a routine around actively sleeping at night. The Life: LGBT Mental Health author explores how a routine helped her cope with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder effecting sleep. Anxiety and lack of presence before bed can cause distractions in falling asleep and possibility of nightmares or bad dreams. An active sleep routine can help us navigate our anxiety and be present before sleep.
