All you need to know about EMDR therapy or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing

✔️This video is dedicated to EMDR therapy. EMDR means Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This unique and already widespread method of psychotherapy was developed by the American psychologist Francine Shapiro. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment and it has already been proven to be highly effective in the treatment of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and other mental issues as a result of various types of psychotrauma: big traumas such as sexual, physical violence, accidents, losses, natural disasters or minor traumas such as non-life-threatening injuries like emotional abuse, death of a pet, bullying or harassment and loss of significant relationships. This psychological therapy is also effective for treating anxiety, phobias, low self-esteem, psychosomatic complaints etc.
