Are Humanitarian & International Development Workers Included in the Federal PTSD Framework?

On April 21, 2021 during a meeting of the Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology, Senator Ratna Omidvar asked the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Health, and Candice St-Aubin, Vice-President of the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention Branch of the Public Health Agency of Canada, if humanitarian and international development workers, who often work in war torn or disaster areas, are included in the Federal Framework on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
