Bipolar mania with PTSD – trauma triggered but singing helps with pain

My name is Xanthe Wyse. I have been diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I have uploaded some videos of the creative processing I did for PTSD (which may look rather strange, including this one). Here, I sang because it was too painful to just talk.

It’s actually quite hard to watch back. I am triggered but I keep singing any old way that comes out to keep going (improvised).

A week later, I was having a breakdown from the prolonged stress of a mania episode with PTSD & high anxiety and was sedated & then it was a rough journey in stabilising me.
