Brit is a shining example of being honest with yourself about your mental health. Brit shares her experience of being self aware enough to drive herself to a mental health facility for a mental evaluation because she wasn’t taking care of herself. She is a rising mental health advocate and is especially interested in the ways in which nannies with mental illness are stigmatized and often at risk of losing their jobs if they’re honest about their mental health.

STIGMA Stories is a series created from a 3-day Mental Health Story-Sharing Pop Up hosted in Chicago in June of 2021. We are trying to normalize conversations about mental illness to help reduce stigma and loneliness, and this winter we will be launching a mental health app that connects people who are struggling with people who share their lived experience. To join the waitlist for STIGMA App visit: https://www.thestigma.app/
Please help us get this app into the world by backing our Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stigmadoc/stigma-app
