CHILD SEX ABUSE AND TRAFFICKING | MY JOURNEY TO HEAL | CAROLE CARES

I am a survivor of child sex abuse and trafficking in my own family. In this video, I want to share with you some of my journey to heal from C-PTSD (complex post traumatic stress disorder), and in particular how I came to know that I was sexually abused and trafficked as a child, my journey to find the right therapist, how I was able to and continue to recover my repressed memories, and most importantly, how I found my voice again in order to start this YouTube channel.

I tell my story in the form of a Q&A format where I answer a series of questions that are based on similar ones that I’ve been asked on my healing journey, and I do it in a very non-triggering way. I have included timestamps below for the questions that I will be answering in this video.
