My name is Xanthe Wyse. Diagnosed bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder.
Recent videos showed elevated mood (hypomania to mania). Had migraine then sleep crashes as mood came down. I used music when I need to which helped bring the mood down with minimal distress. So grounded now in this video, yet still processing stuff.
I received an abusive message from a troll when I woke up. Not going to read it out but it is projection – how that stranger feels about themselves.
My self-esteem is intact not to take it to heart. Affirmations including from songs can help counteract toxicity. I read out some of the lyrics from Soar (Christina Aguilera) at the beginning. Also recommend her song Beautiful.
Going for a walk listening to music helps me when in low moods. I tend to walk slower and listen to different types of music while process, ending with something uplifting. I was still listening to Soar on repeat when got home.
I read out some affirmations I wrote as a painting during a depressed episode. Hope some of these suggestions help. Music and movement is the key, even if moving slowly when low energy.
