Codependent people end up with dysfunctional relationships and often consider themselves as more capable emotionally, this is untrue what we are doing in our codependent state is Not healthy high functioning well balanced empathy . And the ugly truth is codependency is VERY destructive and manipulative. And not good healthy love . So speaking for myself everything is full stop until I establish what the actions thoughts and habits are that are from that mind and where the root of the behavior came from . I have CPTSD from childhood abuse so sourcing is not hard but replacing my habits .. requires vigilant daily work and education outside my frame of awareness from informed professionals.
