Day 11 – Awareness on PTSD, Depression and Anxiety

Day 11 – Home Office

I’ve been nominated by my good friend Will Revelo to a 25 push-ups for 25 days challenge to hopefully raise awareness for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety and depression that drive people to commit suicide.

The rules are simple:
*Once you are nominated your 25 days starts the following day.
*Everyday you record yourself doing 25 push-ups even if you have to drop to your knees to get 25
*Every day you must nominate a different person.

Today, I nominate one of the strongest woman I know who founded and introduced women’s rugby union in Papua New Guinea🏉🇵🇬. Her ability to lead and coordinate has seen many successful rugby union events in the country including her very own brainchild the PNG Rookie 7’s Tournament that has attracted international athletes like Will Genia of the Australian Wallabies and national rugby league icons Ase Boas. She has been in the game longer than j can remember and has been player, a trainer, a coach, a team manager and of course a President of National sporting bodies in the country. She owns her own business but always seizes the moment to give back her time to the younger generation in rugby teaching them the internationally recognized core values of rugby 🌏 of integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect. I have had the priviledge to work with her and have seen her strength, perseverance, intelligence and determination to impact change that surpasses many women. Today, I would like the privilege to nominate Mrs. Cybele Druma to join me in this challenge.

Hoping to work together to reach as many people as possible to create awareness and build love & support for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness. Showing that we care and you are not alone and we are here by your side. Don’t be afraid to speak out!!!
