E13 – Greg C Washington: PTSD, Suicide Awareness and Veterans

⭐ Please join me Monday 4/12/2021 on “Let Your Mayhem Be Known,” as we meet Greg C. Washington a United State Military Academy West Point graduate, US Army combat veteran, entrepreneur, strategic leader, and motivator who is now about to kick off a 1,800-mile walk to bring awareness to death by suicide and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in a #AWALKTOHONOR. 🦅

🏅 Greg earned his MBA at Tulane University and graduated in 2005 from United States Military Academy at West Point. He served seven years on active duty and deployed out of Germany to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His exceptional leadership skills in hostile situations were recognized and he was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal. In his civilian work, he has built a growing network of influential experts and venture capitalists in the cannabis industry, resulting in the successful launch of cannabis operations across the country to help others like him.

🎈Greg’s powerful story brings awareness to years of shame and guilt from survivors remorse, of not being able to save his two best friends 2nd Lt. Emily Perez and Cpt. Scottie Pace. He quickly found himself in deep depression and facing suicide. He then recognized he was not suffering alone, and there are so many others like him. He is now starting this walk as a journey to encourage healing while bringing awareness for increasing suicide rates, as well as create a culture without stigmas around mental health that prevent the healing.
