#Golliwogs & golliwogg or golly is a black fictional character created by Florence Kate Upton that appears in children’s books in the late 19th century and usually depicted as a type of rag doll.
The Golliwog (originally spelled Golliwogg) is the least known of the major anti-black caricatures in the United States. Golliwogs are grotesque creatures,1 with very dark, often jet black skin, large white-rimmed eyes, red or white clown lips, and wild, frizzy hair.

http://joydegruy.com/ Dr. Joy DeGruy wrote her book based on her research of the Effects of Slavery & Institutionalized Racism, Mental Health relative to African people of the Maafa & Diasporas. Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome P.T.S.S. (similar to P.T.S.D.): is a condition that exists as a consequence of multi-generational oppression of Africans & their descendants resulting from centuries of chattel slavery. A form of slavery which was predicated on the belief that African Americans were inherently/genetically inferior to whites. Followed by institutionalized racism which continues to perpetuate injury: P.T.S.S.

*Quote from Star Trek The Next Generation S1E1: “Did your failure to notice it make it unwelcome?” Simply it summarizes that: just because one does not have the capacity to see something that is already present, does not nullify its pre-existence.

*A Native American term, Heyoka’s are living emotional mirrors for those around them. The ‘sacred clown/fool’. The true meaning: To say/act in a manner that is different, backward, opposite of others, gives us a clearer understanding.

*The following traits of a Heyoka are defined by the energy you carry. It’s how you interact with reality, how you process emotions. Some traits may include; being dyslexic(thinking backwards), being born breach (coming into the world backwards), doing certain things backwards, or appearing younger than their age. Heyoka is movement & transformation.

*The spirit of a Heyoka is the Great Mirror. What you see in them will show you what you need to work on to evolve spiritually, for however you react to them emotionally is their guidance to reflect back to you. This disruption to our spiritual status quo should never be seen as a bad thing. They only mean to help those around them.
