EXERCISE FOR A CAUSE!
I am joining the exercise for 25 days challenge to hopefully raise awareness for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and depression. This is unheard of in my culture not because of ignorance but because it’s percieved as a sign of weakness. I’m hoping that this sets of exercises will bring awareness to my people especially to my family and friends that it is ok to speak up and seek help if you are not feeling ok.
Instead of nominating, I would like to encourage everyone to feel free to be part of this challenge and spread awareness about PTSD and depression. 😊
Everyday you record yourself doing 25 counts (or more) of any exercise even if you have to pause and rest to get 25. 💪
Let’s reach as many people as possible. Let’s hope by doing this we can build awareness for anyone who is suffering from a mental illness. You are not alone and we are here for you! 👍
