HALF-TIME CHATS | Dean Hooper

‘Half-Time Chats’ is designed to provide students with a further understanding of the different sectors within the sports industry. Key individuals are invited to talk about their career to help inspire and enrich student studies.

A story of strength. Dean Hooper, ex-professional footballer who played for Swindon Town and Peterborough United joined our students to speak about his journey through football and his battle with bipolar disorder, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Dean along with former Aldershot Town team-mate Dominic Sterling, has set up Football Flow – a mental health service provision with the mission to destigmatise mental health and address the knowledge gap.
