How to Help Your Husband with PTSD

Robert S. Brown Sr. MD, PhD. Staff Psychiatrist, Department of Behavioral Health, Kenner Army Health Clinic, Fort Lee, Virginia.

This is a video for the wives of Soldiers with PTSD. Your husband may not act like he appreciates all that you did in his absence.
Please try to be patient and kind, always showing respect. Sadly, his attention is on his PTSD symptoms. He loves you and the children but it is hard for him to show love or receive love. It will take a very special effort to keep him feeling safe. But he will get better with treatment and time.
