There are effective psychotherapy treatments for PTSD. However, client motivation to engage in trauma-focused therapy while dealing with the chronic stress of the current pandemic poses a unique set of challenges. The lecture by Drs. Megan Keyes and Julie Mastnak discusses this unique set of challenges, as well as exploring strategies for overcoming these challenges, to promote increased client engagement in psychotherapy treatments.
