A fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and has over 10 years’ experience working in the NHS with adult mental health.
CBT focuses on our current difficulties and explores how our thoughts (cognitions) and our actions (behaviour) affect the way we feel. We then develop new experiences to improve our mood, well-being and quality of life.
Issues may include stress, depression, low mood, low self-esteem, anxiety, panic, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, health anxiety, social anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorders. Additionally, she specialises in working with people who also have a long-term physical health condition such as chronic pain, chronic fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, cancer, respiratory conditions, heart problems, diabetes and weight issues.
