This explainer video will focus on how Virtual Reality can potentially help Veterans cope with PTSD. Multiple medical facilities are starting to use virtual reality as a way to help Veterans with their PTSD. According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 30% of Veterans have had PTSD in their lifetime. Between 11 and 20 percent of Iraqi and Enduring Freedom, Tour Veterans have PTSD. The numbers continue to rise each year and in general, about 8 million adults are living with PTSD each year. Studies have shown that Virtual reality has proven to help heal and cope with PTSD.
