Meditation Daily: This relaxing video helps your body fight chronic stress and PTSD naturally.
The post traumatic stress disorder takes a toll on a person’s psychological and emotional consequences. It changes the way a person interacts with family, friends and society as a whole. As a person who is mentally and emotionally affected by PTSD caused by discrimination, I have decided to heal through connection to nature. At the beginning I really did not have a clear idea why I feel better as soon as I go to #nature ; however, doing some research, I found out that #nature-basedTherapy is used in treating veterans suffering from PTSD and it seems that it has indeed some positive impact to people’s lives. Whenever I go to places like this #lake, I feel like entering a whole new world. This world is dissociated from daily does and stresses. The moments in these special places has unique qualities that makes it exceptionally valuable. Here I feel that no one demands responsibilities from me and this by itself bring feeling of freedom.
Usually I feel alert all the time with no good reason. Yet in places like this lake, I sense being in a safe place and calm.
Every single detail in this lake sings a song of relaxation. I get the opportunity to use all of senses and receive nature’s power and love with an open heart. Here I no longer fear or scared of people’s demands and their negative attitudes. I feel as one identity with the environment I am in. I hope you feel the same as I do whenever I enter #nature’s life and beauty.
