Meds hangover. Bipolar, PTSD, sedation from meds, difficulty speaking.

My name is Xanthe Wyse. Diagnosed bipolar 1 disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder.

Previous video was just before a sleep crash. This video after waking up. Some improvement in processing, although still having trouble with speaking. What my psychiatrist called a ‘meds hangover’.

Been under a lot of stress with major life changes. Needing a lot of rest and the meds help sedate for that, but not without side-effects and being zombified. Can’t drive a car in this state.

Psychiatric meds are very potent and I am concerned about conflicts of interests with money and with prescribing to young children. I get knocked around by the meds as an adult.

I choose to be minimally medicated as a compromise with the crappy side-effects.

My semiautobiographical novel, Pet Purpose: Your Unspoken Voice is available on Amazon as a softcover and e-book. Choose ‘look inside’ near the image to read the first chapter or so, free.
