Memories of a psychiatric hospital – part 1

I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I was only diagnosed with bipolar disorder in a psychiatric hospital. The PTSD diagnosis came later, even though I was suffering from PTSD in hospital.

Some of my memories of the psychiatric hospital. I can only really sum it up as feeling like a prison. It was very much an institution with high degrees of control by people in positions of power, not a place to get well. I was assaulted by another patient.

Watching this back I shed some tears – part of the processing, then made another video with some more memories.
