Mental Health : Part 1 : PTSD

Today is my late father’s 6th death anniversary, since I can’t go back to Kuching to do prayer due to Covid19, I decided to share my personal experience of mental health.

PTSD, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health condition that’s triggered by trauma in life, either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event (breakdown from time to time).

I’m grateful that I have my family, my late wife, Bao Juan, my best friend, Daniel and my closed friend, Dale by my side that period of time. And of course, I’m thankful for the guidance and counsel from Benson, my counsellor who I clicked with.

I hope this video will help those in need, there is no shame in having mental health (been there, done that), and as always, it’s never too late to seek out for help 🤗
