Overcoming & Dealing With Depression, PTSD, and Anxiety | How I Deal With Depression

This is my own personal method and experience dealing with depression. As a combat veteran and someone who has experienced a fair amount of trauma during my life, I have found that despite the difficult challenges involved with overcoming depression, I have chosen to look that mental condition like any other handicap; this is something I have to overcome in order to be my greatest self.

For those who suffer depression and anxiety, it’s not as easy as turning off your emotions, such as worry, fear, anxiety, and stress; but we can learn to manage those emotions and choose to engage in activity that gives us the ability to reduce the impact and likelihood of things that trigger those emotions.
