Pain & Post Traumatic Stress

Chronic pain and PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) are more likely to occur together than they are separately, yet the medical community still considers them separate and often unrelated. Dr. Sarah Paquette looks at the neurological connection between these two conditions, how they make each other worse, and why we must – from a neurological standpoint – treat both simultaneously to have successful improvements in patients’ lives. (An excerpt from the 2021 UVM Integrative Pain Management Conference.)
