Post Office Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – Tom Goss – Jeremiah Clark

We’ve all had traumatic experiences at the Post Office. Wednesday in Manor, TX I had the worst of my life. Was charged $86.53 for $11.14 worth of merchandise. Furthermore, apparently they couldn’t refund me. After :30 of talking to superiors I was given a money order for the difference.

That was only one piece of the story. I foolishly decided that because I was going to be spending a lot of time there I should pick up some money orders of my own and send them to my bank so it wouldn’t be a wash. Well that was a mistake as well. A $1,400 dollar receipt lost, and had to be copied.

I had to leave out a lot of drama but you get the gist of it…

To the post office today,
To mail some articles away,
Give me the flat domestic rate,
No idea how much I’d pay.

86 dollars fifty three,
A love package for my sweetie,
Seems a little steep me,
She said that’s why we use the screen.

As if I didn’t learn enough, waiting for resolution of,
2 money orders I do need, yes I’m still waiting for my receipt?
You can’t refund a debit card? Is it really all that hard.
Is Manor Texas just too far…
