VA PTSD CLAIM…..VETERANS BENEFITS…MENTAL HEALTH…PANIC ATTACKS, POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER, VA DISABILITY. This video is me talking about the incident that leads to my rating for PTSD, in which I was diagnosed with PTSD while I was still on active duty. My late husband committed suicide in front of me (shot himself in the head which is a vision that will never go away) and I am still going through it, but I also realized it is important to take care of your mental health. I want you to know if you need someone to talk to or if you are having suicidal feelings please talk to someone(veterans crisis line 24/7 at Call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1). I want other veterans to know my experience and PTSD is a serious illness. Please talk to someone…..I don’t want no one to go through what I went through. My total rating for PTSD is 70% and I started out with 30% and when diagnosed with Panic attacks was rated at 50%.
