PTSD and the Courts

Yasir Naqvi, Ontario’s attorney general has announced the creation of a support line that will offer free counselling services to jurors. When Mark Farrant was called on to serve as a juror in a gruesome murder trial, he stepped up to perform his civic duty. But he didn’t expect to feel anxiety that intensified over time, and led to a diagnosis of PTSD following the trial. He joins The Agenda to share his story, and the reasons he’s advocating for help for those suffering post-jury duty stress.
