In the journey battling un-resolved trauma, PTSD and Trauma & Stressor-related disorder, triggers can be a challenging and painful aspect to navigate.
Join Trevor Swenson as he discusses how triggers have impacted his journey with PTSD and what they can look like.
Triggers are different for each person’s journey with PTSD. Sounds, people, smells, phone calls, stimulus, situations, environments, places…the spectrum is wide.
It can feel overwhelming when you add triggers to depression, anxiety, sleep disorders and the complexity of PTSD.
Help is available! There are people who WANT to help you process your trauma and move towards healing and recovery with you. Ask for help!
The spectrum is unique for each person with dealing with trauma, all very real, and scary at times.
Remember, there is help. Remember, there is hope.
Keep moving. Never quit. Never give up. You are stronger than you could ever imagine. In spite of PTSD, your will is strong. God is stronger…and He is for you!
