My journey with PTSI/PTSD has been well documented (YouTube link is https://youtu.be/6d-mT3ZolWM) but my family’s experiences less so.
PTSI is just as hard on those closest to you but there’s far less support and discussion about how _they_ work through it all.
I’ve said before that the wives, husbands, partners and children are often the unseen casualties.
I’ll probably never appreciate, much less understand, how my insulation, selfishness and anger affected those I love the most, but thanks to my employer (St John Ambulance) here is a video of their stories. I hope you find it helpful…if it hits a little too close to home, _please_ talk to someone.
Please feel free to share this far and wide so that it can help others in similar situations…
