This video may contain content that is triggering to others. I am talking about my narcissistic mother and a story she always told about me. In this story I use a word that some may find offensive, but I only use the word because my mother used it when she told the story about me. This is MY story. I lived through this. A mother that called me names to make me believe that I was stupid. A mother who continued to tell the same story into my adulthood to reinforce that. I’m sorry if you find the word offensive. I did/do too.
The book I mentioned:
Will I Ever Be Good Enough? by Karyl McBride, Ph.D.
