Self-care burnout phase, sore muscles, exhausted, bipolar, PTSD

My name is Xanthe Wyse. Diagnosed bipolar 1 disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Rapid cycling on meds with less severe episodes, yet still very impairing.

Filmed this for comparison with recent videos. Been in mixed mood episode (features of mania and depression). Also to say what self-care.

Feeling exhausted, muscles still sore. Dropped some work. Had a slow walk, bath, sleep. Low keep activities. Best to keep moving gently than not at all. When I’m really exhausted, have a sleep during the day. As I have been sleep deprived for a while.

I try my best to speak clearly yet may be hard to understand. My last video, I spoke fast (pressure of speech) and jumped around more (flight of ideas) which goes with elevated mood. Although was still had mixed features. I was at times into mania yesterday.

Need to take time to rest otherwise, if I keep pushing, I will have another breakdown, which is incredibly stressful and sets me back for months or years.

Mixed mood episodes are extremely exhausting. A lot of muscle pain too last 3 or so days
