Suicide Prevention Swim August 7, 2021

A MUST SEE message of hope. If we could describe in words the beauty of what we saw and compare it to the world those struggling with PTSD could experience as they overcome so many obstacles, you would be in awe.
“Combat Veterans are not only more likely to have suicidal ideation, often associated with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and depression, but they are more likely to act on a suicidal plan.”
~ Cleveland Clinic Journal of Medicine

For far too long, Service Members had to face their darkness alone, with the feeling of, “I just have to suck it up.” We want you to know that you are not alone and that together, we can overcome whatever it is you may face. End the stigma.

August 7, 2021, Your All Veteran Group had the honor of performing at the VSAP 2.2 Mile Suicide Prevention and Awareness Swim in Hope Mills, NC. One of our team members landed in the water to kick off the swim, donned her flippers, and swam to the shore to honor and remember a close friend she lost.

We send a special message with this video. And for those struggling, we encourage you to stand up, reach out to a loved one, friend, or even the National Suicide Hotline at 800-273-8255, and remember that you have purpose here.

Even when the world seems too dark, you are not alone.
