TOPIC: The complexity of assessing and treating post-concussion syndrome (traumatic brain injury) as against post-traumatic stress disorder
Richard Bryant AC is a Scientia Professor of Psychology at the University of New South Wales, Sydney and Director of the Traumatic Stress Clinic.
Professor Bryant has focused on the nature and treatment of PTSD for 30 years. He has developed novel assessment and treatment programs for people with PTSD and mild traumatic brain injury.
Professor Bryant has written 6 books, 70 book chapters, and 640 journal articles. He has worked with military agencies around the world, and conducted many studies with Australian defence and veteran personnel. He currently serves on the Australian Defence Force Mental Health Advisory Group.
