In carefully constructing a safe,relaxed place for ourselves, we may begin to feel that we can work with comforting, attending to, and unburdening the child we were and that still resides within us. This therapist -guided meditation assists with first finding a comfortable and safe place within, and slowly looking at the needs that we had and have, and attending to them.
Much depression, anxiety, PTSD and insomnia may be lessened if we look to the past and current emotional needs within us and mindfully care for them.
