Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a well-known, but often misunderstood psychological condition. This video is a presentation that highlights the nature and characteristics of different types of trauma, the symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and a model for understanding how PTSD works. There is also a discussion about cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT) of PTSD.
