Veteran Uses Yoga to Cope with PTSD | AARP

Jeff Sargent spent two decades in the U.S. Army fighting on the front lines in Iraq and Afghanistan. After retirement, Jeff suffered from PTSD. Jeff started doing yoga and the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits have been endless. He says yoga saved his life and was so moved by the practice that he is now finishing up his Master’s degree in Yoga Therapy with hopes of helping other soldiers who suffer from PTSD.
