What's the Buzz About Sleep? Presented by Elle Wernette for the MSU Science Festival

We spend about one-third of our lives asleep, but sleep is still not well-understood! In this talk, we will learn about sleep throughout the lifespan and how researchers study sleep. We will also learn about the many ways sleep helps us function every day, especially when it comes to paying attention, remembering information, and our general health. Finally, we will talk about different factors that may help or hinder sleep and the research on the effectiveness of taking melatonin supplements.
