Wildfires and post-traumatic stress disorder

Georgina Calderon is an emergency room doctor at Ukiah Valley Medical Center. On October 8, 2017 she narrowly escaped the Redwood Valley fire with just minutes to spare after she happened to wake up in the middle of the night to nurse her baby. After a harrowing trek over a mountain road to Willits, she made her way to work the next morning where she spent the day treating fire survivors. In this video she talks about the trauma her family and the community are still feeling.
